Congratulations to my colleagues at the John Locke Foundation

I want to congratulate my colleagues both on this blog site and at the John Locke Foundation and Carolina Journal. Over the last few weeks the eco scare mongers and the climate McCarthyites at various blogs and web sites have seen fit to attack the John Locke Foundation and individuals within the organization, including myself, for our position on global warming. What is particularly gratifying about these attacks is that they do not even attempt to refute our arguments. To be sure if this could be easily done it would be. Instead there is ridicule, personal attacks, and “investigative reports” on where we get our funding. This is all the kind of thing that people do when they can’t touch your actual arguments. We have put out dozens of articles related to the topic and the policies being promoted in North Carolina, including this wonderful guide to the science for North Carolinians by Joel Schwartz, and the substance of it remains in tact. If we have ever needed proof that we’re right on our facts and our logic this is it. Keep up the good work.

The ad hominem atacks, the condescension, the refusal to debate the facts, legislation by stealth and subtrefuge and yellow journalism all more in keeping with Tammany Hall or Jimmy Hoffa than North Carolina values.
This whole thing reeks of backroom politics. Of course that was the end goal of the Alarmists all along. Global Warming is just a smoke screen being used to advance their agenda.
Keep up the good fight, you are right and they are scared witless that exposed to the blinding light of public scrutiny the people will find out how shallow and disingenious these Alarmists are.
